Kirktonhill Lawn Tennis Club
We have another busy few days ahead of us starting at 3.30pm, Friday, when Douglas will be taking the match-play session for Juniors. It lasts an hour and is open to any juniors who are comfortable playing competitive tennis.
Later on Friday the Gents team have a league match against Strathgryffe 4 (7.00pm start). Please feel free to go along and give your support.
The Ladies team had a good win against Helensburgh yesterday, winning 7-2. Here's hoping they can keep the good results coming.
On Saturday we have our usual 3 hours of junior coaching and on Monday Douglas will again take the adult beginners and improvers class from 6.30pm - 7.15pm. Anyone can join in at any time so please come and take part if you are interested. Racquets provided.

Coaching for Adult Beginners and Improvers
Monday evenings 6.30pm – 7.15pm.
£3.00 per session, paid on the night.
6 Free lessons to anyone who has joined the club for the first time.

In order to keep our list in compliance with the law, we need you to confirm that you are still happy to receive emails from us.
Emails are sent to club members for one of the following reasons:
1) You or your child are currently a club member.
2) You or your child have been a club member in the recent past and have chosen to receive updates from the club.
3) You have attended coaching or club events as a non-member.
4) You have expressed an interest in being kept updated on club matters.

The Smarties tubes keep coming.
So far last year the juniors and their families have helped raise over £700 by filling tubes with 20p pieces.
Time for the adults to step in and rise to the challenge!!

The 50/50 Club has already helped to raise over £1,200 for club funds – and the prizes keep getting better. It costs only £5.00 per month. The more people who take part, the bigger the prizes so if you would like to get involved, please contact Fiona, Karen or a member of the committee.
The Gents recently competed in the Junior Calcutta Cup and in league tennis, they got off to a steady start away to Helensburgh.
The Ladies team have had mixed fortunes with an defeat away but, comfortably beating Ft Matilda 6-3 in their first home match since the new club house was built.

We finally got into the new clubhouse and club members are loving it. Happy kids playing games whilst waiting for siblings and happy parents sharing a cuppa and chat.
