Last years Marathon was a huge success and we time to do even better this time.

Cost - £10 per adult and £ 5 per child. £20 for a family. Friends, family, visitors all welcome to take part.

The aim is to have as many people playing tennis uninterrupted during the course of the day. I t will start at 8.00am with adults and then from 10.00 - 12.00 noon we'll set aside the courts for children.

Thereafter there will be mixed play, mini tournaments etc with refreshments and hot dogs along the way, as well as a tombola ( donations will be welcome and can be left in the clubhouse for uplift)

Douglas will be drawing up a tennis schedule for the day which will be sent out to everyone before the event.

Work on the new clubhouse is progressing well. Most of the work is now focussed on the inside of the clubhouse. Internal walls are up and the plasterers have been busy. All the utilities have been connected. The provisional completion date is early September. So theres not long to wait now!

Regular updates will be emailed out to everyone.

So we need your help to find more sponsors who would be willing to sponsor the prize for the race ( for the value of approx £25). These could be individuals or businesses.

If you can help please contact Celia on or Aileen on Or Douglas via Facebook. More details will be circulated in the coming weeks.
